IIUM Graduate School of Management
The IIUM Graduate School of Management (formerly known as Management Centre), which is part of the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences, was set up in 1993. The school, through its programmes, aims to focus on the need for a well-balanced and holistic approach to management.

Recognising the importance of networking in a global environment, the school is initiating smart partnerships and strategic alliances globally that will complement our role and generate mutually beneficial activities with schools and centres of excellence within and beyond ASEAN. The school believes such an effort will contribute to the development of a new generation of business leaders who are technically and morally competent to take up challenges of the information age.

The school operates on a self-financing basis with its own administrative personnel. Having excellent teaching facilities and academic staff, it now offers three executive programmes, namely the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and the Master of Management (MMgt). Teaching faculty for the programmes is sourced from the lecturers of the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences, as well as from industry.

All teaching faculty members have doctoral degrees and relevant experience in their respective areas. A good number of our lecturers have also been involved in consultancy work with industry. There is also a good mix of international and local teaching staff, which gives the programme an international flavour.

The school’s objective is to prepare business leaders imbued with Islamic ethical values. It aims to be a centre of excellence in management for the corporate sector, government organisations and non-profit organisations from Malaysia and other countries. By providing the needed management training, the school sees itself as a key enabler in the nation’s quest to achieve Vision 2020.

Harun M. Hashim Law Centre
The Harun M. Hashim Law Centre is driven by its simple mission to help people succeed in life through education and training. This convComputer science & ITion will endure as it is consistent with our personal calling and needs. However, the strategy and approach shall be reinvented as the context for education has changed. This is necessitated by the powerful forces of globalisation, technology innovation and change itself.

In light of this, for the Law Centre to have a strategic position in the legal world, we need to create a world-class workforce that is educated differently. In the IT age, where time and space have collapsed, the new paradigms require a multi workforce for lifelong success. The general consensus now focuses on certain critical enabling skills which includes:
1. Learning to learn
2. Collaboration and communication
3. Creative thinking and problem solving
4. Technology literacy
5. Global business literacy
6. Leadership development and
7. Career self-management

It is our commitment that these critical enabling skills will be incorporated into our academic and training programmes. Since its establishment, the Law Centre had shown tremendous growth in terms of its operation and activities. During its inception, the Law Centre only offered two (2) programmes, but it has expanded to twenty one (21) programmes presently.
