UCSI University is a vibrant community of learning and scholarship. Founded in 1986, UCSI was recognised as one of Malaysia’s first private universities by the Malaysian Ministry of Education. UCSI hosts around 10,000 students from over 80 countries at its campuses in Kuala Lumpur, Terengganu and Sarawak. The University’s academic offerings are as eclectic as its student cohort. UCSI’s top medical and engineering students have been selected to pursue cutting-edge research at Harvard University and Imperial College London, respectively, and similar arrangements are being developed with collaborative partners in the Ivy League, Russell Group, Universitas 21 and Australia’s Group of Eight.
Internationalisation is another key focus at UCSI. Students from more than 80 countries study here, making the University a vibrant melting pot of culture and diversity. Exchange programmes abound and more strategic tie-ups are being forged with leading universities in France, Ireland and the UK.
New postgraduate programmes such as the eMBA and Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Teaching will be launched come 2016. Academic collaborations are being extended to India, Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Nepal.
