What I can offer
Having more than 18 years of industrial and academic experience gives me a unique perspective in both worlds. With my active involvement both in consultancy and research projects provide possibilities to delve into actual problems and apply it in my teachings and academic research. I was given the opportunity to chair sessions in international conferences and appointed as an editorial board member and reviewer for local and international business journals. I am dedicated to routinely support, advice and motivate my postgraduate students throughout their journey and make sure they are up to date with the latest development in their area of research. I guide all my supervisees in every component of their thesis’ journey, especially in the methodology that utilises the second generation of data analysis. Also, I am currently conducting training for academic and postgraduate students on using the latest development of Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).

What I seek in a candidate
I am directly involved in students’ research supervision where I have supervised more than 15 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Many assumes a postgraduate student needs to be academically clever to pursue and complete their studies. However it’s quite the contrary. It’s more of the individual’s persistence and tenacity which makes it possible to finish their studies. The postgraduate journey is like a marathon. Without the right motivation, discipline and constant thirst for knowledge will make one to give up halfway. The right mind set in pursuing postgraduate studies is paramount to complete the race. Also, it is crucial to have supporting pillars around you, including the supervisor. Therefore, choose your supporting pillars wisely.
