Master of Architecture is a LAM Part II professional programme which tailors for the wide range of the architectural industry expectations including BIM, High Rise Design, Urban Design, and Landscape Professional Practice and Management. The programme provides candidates with electives in entrepreneurship, project management or architectural critique to further enrich their knowledge in the architectural field.
This is a full-time professional programme, equivalent to Part II examination of the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM). Graduates may then apply to register as a “Graduate Architect” with LAM.
It is designed for individuals who have already successfully completed a 3-year undergraduate professional architectural programme.
The course objective is to train future architects to be competent in exploring the design process and related skills vital for professional architects.
In preparation for senior positions in government and project based organizations, whilst also enabling technical managers to improve their project management skills and gain a broad functional and strategic perspective on general management.
Facilities Management is based on the premise that the efficiency of any organisation is linked to the physical environment in which it operates and that this environment can be improved to increase efficiency.
The Urban Development and Management Program is introduced to strengthen the knowledge on urban challenges faced by city managers.
