Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Scholarships
Global Experience Scholarships are awarded to support students to participate in the designated global outreach programme(s) organized by the Department. Students are selected for this scholarship based on two criteria: (i) academic records and (ii) suitability for the designated outreach programme (e.g., learning motivation and communication skills).
Every year, the top 3 students in term of cumulative GPA score will be awarded with Merit Scholarship. They will be presented with scholarships valued HK$10,000, HK$7,000 and HK$5,000 respectively.
Every year, students who are officially admitted and accept offer to the Programme, and are satisfied with the English result, academic and interview performance will automatically be considered for the Entrance Scholarship of HK$10,000 or HK$20,000.
MSc Research Scholarships are awarded to the students who perform well in the research-oriented courses and fulfil the following requirements: (i) the grade obtained in “COMP7960 MSc Research I” or “COMP7970 MSc Research II” in a semester is A or A-, (ii) the results obtained in COMP7960 or COMP7970 are of publishable quality, and (iii) the affiliation of the authors in the paper is “Department of Computer Science, Hong Kong Baptist University”.
High Distinction/Distinction/Merit Scholarships are provided to students with very good academic performance in their MSc studies
We provide Entrance Scholarships to freshmen with good academic records in their undergraduate studies.
The MSc Fellowship scheme supports outstanding students in the world to enrol in MSc in Information Technology Management (ITM) or MSc in Advanced Information Systems (AIS) for enhancing multi-cultural exchanges among the students of these programmes. The tuition fee is waived and a certificate of fellowship is given to each awardee.
The Scholarship will be offered to full-time local and mainland students of the programme who participated in the exchange study.
The Scholarship will be offered to full-time non-local and non-mainland students of the programme.
