Entry Requirements
Minimum Entry Requirements
- A recognized Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) Part 1 Degree in Architecture or the equivalent; AND
- A minimum of 6 months practical experience after graduating from the first stage of architectural education at registered architect office, approved architectural related organization or practice within the building industry; AND
- Pass portfolio interview conducted by TAR UC.
English Language Requirements
Malaysian Students
- MUET Band 3.0 or IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 42 or equivalent; OR
- Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
International Students
- IELTS Band 5.0 or CEFR High B1 or TOEFL iBT 42 equivalent OR
- Exemption of English Language requirement if medium of instruction during Bachelor studies was in English
Benefits
This is a full-time professional programme, equivalent to Part II examination of the Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM). Graduates may then apply to register as a “Graduate Architect” with LAM.
