Postgraduate Degree Programmes Scholarship

Academic Requirements

(1) a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours and CGPA of 2.75 and above or a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 2.75 and above in a related field from UTAR; or

(2) a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours and CGPA of 2.50 and above but less than 2.75 or a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 2.50 and above but less than 2.75 in a related field from UTAR and subjected to rigorous internal assessment; or

(3) a Bachelor’s Degree with Honours and CGPA of 2.00 and above but less than 2.50 or a Bachelor’s Degree with CGPA of 2.00 and above but less than 2.50 in a related field from UTAR, show evidence of at least five (5) years of relevant working experience and subjected to rigorous internal assessment; or

(4) any other academic qualifications equivalent to (1), (2) or (3) from another recognised University as approved by the Senate

Alternative entry mode - APEL (A)
UTAR welcomes applicant who does not possess entry qualification, alternatively, student can apply to our programme by using the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL)

Research Assistantship

There are three types of assistantships in UTAR which are as follows: (i) Project Research Assistantship (ii) Research Scholarship Scheme (iii) Student Assistantship 
The purpose of these assistantships is to provide researchers of UTAR a platform to source assistance in research work and also to provide an opportunity for students or research assistants to be involved and assist in research projects and thus enhancing their exposure and experience in research.

Students may apply for KWSP Withdrawal from their Account 2.

KOJADI Education Loan Scheme for Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (S-UTAR)
This loan scheme is designed and implemented in 2002 for member-students who pursue courses at UTAR
